There are moments in history where the world feels heavy... like really heavy...
Moments where the news, the noise and the endless stream of information can make it feel like everything is falling apart. Like you are spinning, It can feel overwhelming. Uncertain. Loud.
And in times like this, it becomes incredibly easy to forget something essential...
The light.
Not the light outside of us.
The light within us. YOUR LIGHT!
The truth is that every single human being carries a light. A quiet presence. A deeper knowing. A place within us that remains untouched by chaos.
Sometimes we forget it.
Sometimes life pulls our attention away from it.
But it never disappears.
More than ever, the world does not need more fear, anger, or noise. It needs people who remember their light and choose to live from that place.
This does not mean ignoring reality or pretending the world is perfect. It means remembering who we are within it.
There is a quiet wisdom in the words:
Be still and know that I am God.
Stillness is not weakness.
Stillness is power.
In stillness we remember who we are.
In stillness we reconnect with truth.
In stillness we allow love to guide our actions rather than fear.
The work I do as a photographer has always been about this.
Helping women remember.
Remember their beauty.
Remember their worth.
Remember the light they carry within them.
Every time a woman steps in front of my camera and begins to soften, something shifts. She sees herself again. Not through the harsh lens of comparison or judgment, but through truth.
And when a woman remembers her light, the world becomes brighter.
This is how change happens.
Not through force.
Not through noise.
But through presence.
Through people who choose love over fear.
Creation over destruction.
Light over darkness.
The world has always gone through seasons like this. But humanity has also always carried the ability to rise, heal and create beauty again.
So if the world feels overwhelming right now, come back to something simple.
Breathe.
Be still.
Remember the light within you.
Because the world does not just need more information right now.
It needs more people who remember who they truly are.
And the light you carry might be exactly what someone else needs to see.
With all my love,
The light in me sees the light in you.
