Every Motherhood Portrait session with Nami Creative is fully guided (you simply turn up) and shot exclusively at Nami's own Raglan locations, designed to hold a season of motherhood exactly as it feels, soft, natural, a bit chaotic, honest and worth remembering.

Some questions women ask

Is there a right age for a motherhood photoshoot?

There's no right or wrong age. Some women book when their baby is just weeks old, others when their child is a toddler, a teenager, or anywhere in between. This is about the connection between you, not a specific stage.

What should I wear for my motherhood photoshoot?

Flowing fabrics and solid colours that photograph well together tend to work best outdoors. I do a full consult before our shoot and also have items you can borrow, ranging from size 6-22 :)

How long is a motherhood photoshoot in Raglan?

Sessions are fully guided and timed around golden hour light, with length depending on the package chosen, from 30 mins to 2.5 hours. The best thing to do is contact me for availability and we can figure out the most suited package for you.

Do I need experience posing?

No. Every woman is guided through the entire session. No experience or posing knowledge is needed, simply arrive as you are. Posing and guiding you is entirely my job. Also do not worry if the littles ones do their own thing, I know what it's like - sessions are child led - we follow their leads, that's when the best photos happen.

Can my other children or partner be included?

Yes, many women choose to include their partner or other children for part of the session. Let me know when booking so the session can be planned around it.

How long does it take to receive the photos?

You'll receive your fully edited gallery between 2-3 weeks post-shoot. All images are hand-selected and edited by myself, no AI culling, ever, and no outsourced editing. NOTE: photos are only shared with consent, never without.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. A $250 deposit is required to secure your date, and the remaining balance can be paid off prior to your shoot, weekly, monthly, or as a lump sum, whichever suits you best.
