Nami Creative has passed 100 Google reviews, and I want to say thank you to every woman who has taken the time to write one. I'm a small business, so this milestone means more to me than I can fit into a blog post, but I'm going to try.


What 100 reviews mean to a small business


I'm a one-woman photography business in Raglan, New Zealand. I started Nami Creative in 2019, and I've been behind the camera for over 20 years. I've photographed more than 1,000 women.


Here is the full transparency: when a woman is deciding who to trust with something as personal as a Goddess Shoot® or a maternity session, she usually looks at reviews first. Your words are how she decides if she feels safe. They're also one of the main ways a small business like mine gets found on Google at all.

How your reviews help a woman follow her dreams


Every review you wrote helped me keep doing what I love. They help me stay visible, so I can keep creating portraits that make women feel seen. They help me teach, run workshops and support other women photographers who are following their own dreams.

Reading every single one of them and replying to each personally has meant the world to me and truly brings the biggest smile onto my face.
