At some point, beauty stopped being something we felt and became something we measured...

Measured against trends, against our age, against bodies that keep changing, against images online that weren't even real to begin with... Just think about this for a moment, let that actually sink in!

Social standards quietly teach us that beauty is conditional...

That it has a deadline.

That it must be earned.

But beauty was never meant to be a trend.

(I am fuming writing this btw)

BEAUTY:

Does not expire with age.

Does not disappear when your body changes.

Does not shrink when life leaves its marks on you.

The women I photograph often arrive telling me what they dislike about themselves.

And yet, within minutes, something shifts.

Not because they change.

But because they soften, accept & recognise.

Beauty shows up when a woman stops performing and allows herself to be present.

Comparison has taught us to look outside ourselves for validation.

But presence brings us back home.

Beauty is not about fitting a standard.

It is about recognising yourself.

You do not need to wait.

You do not need to fix anything.

You do not need permission.

You are already worthy of being seen.

With all my love,

Nami ✨
